Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Family Online Safety Resources & Tips

Dear Ludlow Families,

In recognition of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month this October, Ludlow Public Schools is sharing resources to help empower families and students to navigate the digital world safely.

At Ludlow Public Schools, we are constantly enhancing our network and systems security to protect student information. To help protect your family at home, we have attached our Family Cyber Safety Guide.

Highlights from the guide include:

3 Everyday Habits: Talking openly about online activity, protecting private details, and setting simple screen rules.

Home Tech Checklist: Enabling 2-step verification, securing home Wi-Fi, and using hard-to-guess passphrases.

Parent Tools: Trusted safety sites including NetSmartz, ConnectSafely, and the FTC Protect Kids Online guide.

Please take a moment to review the attached flyer with your family by clicking the "Online Safety Resources & Tips" button below. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community safe both online and off!

Best regards,

Ludlow Public Schools
