Parent Child+ Program

ParentChild+ is an opportunity for parents to receive the knowledge, skills and materials needed to make their children successful in school.

Parent/Caregivers & Child Model: 1 on 1 Visits

Do you have a child that falls in the age range of 16 months to age 3 years old?

Do you live in Ludlow, East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Hampden, Wilbraham, Southwick, Tolland or Granville?

Is English your second language?

Do you receive Public Assistance?

Are you a Single or Teenage Parent?

Do you have limited formalized education?

Are you interested in supporting preschool and Kindergarten readiness skills?

Are you looking to support your child's literacy skills?

Is your child home with a caregiver or parent during the day, or unable to attend a formalized preschool?

If you answered YES to any of these questions you may qualify for Parent Child+.

You will receive FREE Toys and Books, a home visitor that will coach you and your child’s development, interaction and attachment skills. This is a 23 week program that can be virtual or in person, to meet the needs of your family.

Meet your Early Learning Specialists

  • Jennifer Bilodeau- Completed the Program Coordinator training in 2024 and currently sits as the program’s Coordinator.  Has worked in PC+ & Pathways for Parents CFCE since 2021. Background in working with children birth to age 3 years old as a Developmental Specialist in Early Intervention for 20 years, as well as 6 years prior experience working as a mental health counselor with children 5-17 years of age.  

  • Laurel Sheldon- Background in working with children birth to age 3 years old.  Laurel holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy and currently works in an Early Intervention program.

  • Tina Desroches- Background in working with children of all ages. Tina has been working for our Pathways for Parents CFCE program as an educator in the Southwick, Tolland and Granville towns since 2013.  

  • Andrea Cummings- Background in working with children in Early Elementary Education. Andrea has been working for our Pathways for Parents CFCE Program since 2023 and PC+ Program since 2024.
