SAFETY CONCERN

Dear Families,
With the warmer weather, we are noticing more and more children enjoying the HBES campus after school hours—which is wonderful to see!
We want to remind everyone that bicycle helmets MUST be worn while on campus. In Massachusetts, children age 16 and under are legally required to wear a properly fitted, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission-approved helmet when riding a bicycle, scooter, or skateboard on a public way or bike path.
In addition, motorized dirt bikes are not permitted on school property.
Thank you for your attention to these important safety reminders.
Sincerely,
HBES Administration and Ludlow Police Department
