Thank you!

Today was a wonderful day at Harris Brook! The sun was shining, our students were SO excited for the Masked Reader reveal, and our friends from Keystone Commons came for a special visit.
Throughout the school year, our Keystone Commons friends visit to read with our second grade students. Our students always love listening to the stories and asking their readers lots of questions!
As part of Keystone Commons’ monthly Random Acts of Kindness program, our sweet friends treated our second grade team and our librarian, Miss Eggimann, to lunch today. The partnership between Harris Brook and Keystone Commons has truly fostered meaningful relationships—not only with our students, but with our staff as well.
There was so much love in the room as we listened to our guests share stories and wisdom, from marriage advice after 73 years together to the perspective of a friend who recently celebrated her 95th birthday.
We look forward to welcoming them back into our building next fall to meet a new class of second grade students. We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
